カノジョになりたい君と僕 is currently free and I really recommend it
It’s about a girl who’s in love with her childhood friend, whom is a transgender girl.
She kinds of has a lot of internal conflict about what gender means, what her feelings for her friend means, what the reality her friend is forced to live with is etc, and in an effort to fight this reality and to support her friend she starts wearing the male uniform to school.

Does anyone use Kindle unlimited? Is there any issue with manga going off Kindle Unlimited, or once it’s there does it tend to stick? My one-click habit of buying old cheap-ass manga on sale is becoming a bit of an issue and I see a lot of it is often on KU so I might as well stop buying it if it’s just going to hang around in the KU archives forever.
I use Kindle Unlimited. I haven’t noticed anything go off that I can remember. You’re only allowed to have 10 items out at a time, but you can just return them and take them out again later, if you need to.

Depends on the publisher I think, some things seems to stay on Kindle Unlimited while others cycle on and off. I’ve seen complete LN series come and go。
I’ve been reading the kirby novel series and the yotsugo gurashi series through KU, and it seems like they have a selection of volumes available through KU at a time. For instance, they might have the first 5 on KU for a while, then remove those and make the next 5 available on KU etc.
Then you have publishers that make the first vol available on KU to entice you to buy the rest of the series or just give you a taste.
I’ve been thinking about creating a KU thread to highlight the good stuff that’s currently available on KU.

there is a 40% off coupon in bookwalker from the today to the 28th and it has a surprising variety in the eligible list!
They’re mostly isekai but there are many others including BL and GL works that I’ve seen in nominations from the book clubs!!

from the top of my head 雨でも晴れでも, やがて君になる (saw the manga though, not the light novel), 今日からマ王! 魔王誕生編, フツーと化け物 are the ones I remember from the top of my head but I’m pretty sure there were more
it’s pretty much a huge chunk of Kadokawa published sale (as in the owners of the site)

There’s a 11th Anniversary of the Japanese Kindle store (that’s a stretch, Amazon) sale. I didn’t find anything I wanted on the first few pages, but maybe someone will wade through the sale pages and find some gems.

By the by, it’s worth keeping an eye on the Wanikani bookwalker freebies thread, as there is a regular poster who has a scraper or something working quite well. Also a lot of bookwalker freebies are replicated over to Amazon.
