The entirety of 未来日記 is currently 33 yen per volume on bookwalker
Meaning without tax it amounts to 360 yen for all of the series
Looks like the same deal is up at Amazon:
There’s an audible sale going on. For example 本好きの下剋上 some volumes 89% off
I can recommend the oregairu (やはり俺の…) audiobooks, if the storyline is to your taste. They are very well done, imo.
I’m going to have so many 本好き audiobooks after this. Didn’t realize that even preorders are discounted. @.@
And you don’t pay until they release! Just lock the price and get charged when they are live
Other on-sale Audible titles that catch my eye (besides the metric ton of 村上 and self-help books): (note that you may need to have a subscription to see these. I signed up for the free trial and they show up for me)
…And many more. This post is already long.
I would say you all are bad for my wallet, but not even Thanks for all the recs!!
TIL there is a published called 小学館… For a moment I thought there was a kids edition of 俺ガイル or something
This whole thread itself was a mistake
I wonder if there’s some region differences. I don’t see any sale for those volumes. Not that I was planning to listen to the audiobook anyway.
Might be US-only; I’m not sure about the other regions.
I haven’t seen them in JP or ES Audible, so it’s probably just a US specific Blackfriday / Cybermonday / Cyberweek / Whateversale
I’m in the US though.
Are you subscribed? is for Premium Plus only. Some people just did the trial to buy things on sale then cancelled/paused.
Sale ends December 1, 2023 at 11:59 P.M. PT (US). Offer is available only to active US Audible Premium Plus members, is not transferable, and cannot be combined with any other offer. Percentage discounts based on non-member prices. Sale titles are not eligible for return. Offer is only available on Audible.com, the Audible iOS App (versions 4.2+), and the Audible Android App (versions 3.36+). Audible reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time. If you violate any of these terms, the offer will be invalid.
I see. I didn’t realize you had to subscribe and buy books. What an odd business model.
You can buy the books without subscribing, but the majority of their sale is only offered to subscription users.
They are betting on the fact that you might not cancel and continue the subscription.
A bit underhanded tactics, but it’s weird that they are not showing the discount for non-subscribers as a incentive to get subscribed.
