es el año en que empecé a leer en coreano, también en el que empecé a usar natively. me incribí en septiembre, y desde entonces leí unos 16 libros, de los cuales 13 son de la colección 두루책방. mi primer libro en papel fue Easy Korean Reading For Beginners | L8, el siguiente 혹시 파란색 진돗개 보셨어요? Have You Seen a Blue Jindo Dog? | L12. y mi primer libro que no venga con traducción incluida 요츠바랑! 1 | L15, con el book club!! (aunque lo abandoné a mitades… eaaarg). también leí más de la mitad de 신의 탑 1 | L24??, y pienso seguir con él y acabarlo en algún momento. por fin, me queda muy poco para acabar 히카루가 죽은 여름 1 | L18, me ha gustado mucho. está un poco por encima de mis habilidades, pero me apaño con papago, y de hecho la razón por la que aún no lo haya acabado es que me quedan unos cuantos días antes de volver a casa y poder ir a comprar el segundo volumen (el bingo 2025 tiene una casilla “read the second volume in a series”, qué casualidad

this is the year i started reading in korean, and also started using natively. i signed up in september, and have since read 16 books, 13 of which are from the 두루책방 collection. my first paper book was Easy Korean Reading For Beginners | L8, then 혹시 파란색 진돗개 보셨어요? objetivos para 2025:
me encanta planear, y ponerme objetivos, y ver qué podría hacer para mejorar mi metodología, pero sé que acabo pasando de todo y haciendo lo que me da la gana, así queeeee encontré inspiración en el studylog de de @mitrac en wanikani, y decidí ponerme sólo 1 objetivo para este año:
leer todos los días, el tiempo que sea.
como sé que no suelo cumplir, por ahora el objetivo será para enero, y si lo logro ampliaré un mes más, si no ajustaré. podría ser leer solo entre semanas.
quiero ver si consigo ampliar mi vocabulario, consolidar el que ya tengo, y sobre todo quiero poder leer libros que me interesan, en coreano. sin que sea un tormento.

i love planning, and setting goals, and seeing what i could do to optimise my routine, but i also know i usually end up leaving all that aside and doing whatever i feel like, sooooo i found inspiration in the study log and experiment set up by mitrac, and decided to set only one goal for myself this year:
read everyday, for however long.
since i know i usually don’t reach my goals, the actual objective is to do that for all of January, and if i happen to make it, i’ll make it a month longer. it not, i can readjust then, maybe only read during week-days.
i want to see if i can widen my vocabulary, strengthen the one i do have, and mostly i want to be able to read books i’m interested about, in korean. without it being a chore.
siguiendo esta idea: no pienso seguir midiendo las páginas que leo, los minutos que escucho algo, etc. simplemente si sí o no leí en el día. dado que otra de mi resolución para el año nuevo es escribir un diario a mano en vez de en Notion, tomaré nota de los días que cumplo en mi diario.
participaré en el bingo challenge, aunque no pienso planear cada libro que leeré para llenarlo. iré viendo qué libros me llaman.

in that spirit, i don’t plan on tracking the pages i read and minutes i spend listening to something anymore, only whether or not i read that day. since another of my new year’s resolutions is to write my diary instead of typing it in Notion, i’ll keep track of that in my diary.
i’ll take part in the bingo challenge, although i don’t plan on thinking of a book for each square, i’ll just go with the flow.
that being said, there are some books that i do want to read in 2025, as well as categories, or types of books, also inspired by mitrac’s studylog (seriously this is a great log go check it out! i learned so much).

- mismo autor o misma serie, para beneficiarme de la repetición del vocabulario, forma de escribir, etc.
- libro muy por encima de mi nivel para ir midiendo mi avance.
- libros que me interesan y no me cuestan tanto leer. pueden ser también webtoons, simplemente quiero algo que leer cuando no me sienta motivada para hacer el esfuerzo.
libros:
- 히카루가 죽은 여름 vol 2: me gustó el primer volumen y quiero seguir la serie. por ahora será mi libro de “mismo autor o serie”.
- 대도시의 사랑법: mi libro “muy por encima de mi nivel”. MUY por encima. en el párrafo que estoy leyendo ahora, tuve que buscar más de 30 palabras en natively está solo un nivel por encima de 신의 탑, there’s simply no way. los dos están en niveles temporales, aún no tienen suficientes evaluaciones, y creo que la novela subirá. de cualquier forma, sé que en algún momento me cansaré de leer un libro tan difícil, lo dejaré de lado un tiempo, y espero que cuando vuelva a ello me resulte algo más fácil.
- 오만과 편견: orgullo y prejuicio es uno de mis libros favoritos, y creo que leer la versión para niños (nivel 14 por ahora) podría ser una buena idea.
- webtoons!! empecé 2 que aún no he acabado, y un tercero que todavía no sé si me gusta.
