Spoilers should always be hidden using spoiler blur.
When discussing a specific section, please mention where you are in the book, ideally by chapter so people reading different versions have a clear point of reference.
Feel free to read ahead if it’s exciting, but please refrain from spoiling ahead of the appropriate week.
If you have a question about grammar, vocab, cultural things, etc - ask! That’s a welcome part of the discussion too, and other readers will be happy to help.
I came from half a week in the future* to say that the depicted scene was one of my favorite in the book. Kaito mumbling random garbage in Japanese on the spot was pretty fun
*I started writing this post before I saw the date. Insert “quick, there’s no time to explain” joke.
I really liked that scene as well. Just like me, whenever people tell me to say something in my native language
I wonder if Kaito is going to change history? After all Drake is influential enough to use the info to his advantage. If so, I’m worried that at some point in the future Kaito’s fortune-telling will be off with dire consequences. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.
I was also wondering about that, but then I thought that maybe the future (past? ) that happened was exactly because 海斗 was there to foretell some events? The FLESH & BLOOD time paradox .
Maybe the final volume will be him stepping on a butterfly and preventing his own birth and thus none of the books ever happened. (Honestly, that would be such a troll move by an author, I’d respect that. )
