I was going to say this about this section too. We acted like eating hearts was very 禁止 but then ゼオル finds out and is just kind of like… hey, don’t do that! Then no other consequences.
Annnnnd, now we’re back to retraining magical ability.

I felt bad for the deer, that was a bit gruesome!
Okay, it’s kind of funny that despite becoming a kittyboy, Nyango isn’t interested in any of the ladies. He is NOT a furry.

Ahhh, finally going to town again.
I agree. We have very few characters in the story so far, and the ones we do have are very one-note. It feels like Nyango has barely talked to anyone besides Zaol the whole book.

That makes sense. It’s still a bit hard to accept for me (because my mind keeps getting hung up that he’s answering “I would if I could, but it’s outside of my control” to “Please think a bit more before acting”), but if he’s not answering that literal request but instead to the “Please don’t cause me trouble”… yeah, that fits.

Time to use the bike to get quickly to the city and get some adventurers?
「よし、応援が到着したら、俺と一緒にイブーロまで行ってギルドに依頼を出す」
Wait, I thought they would notify both at the same time so it’s brought down quicker, but if you first get the free support from the knights… why do you even have to notify the adventurers at all? Aren’t the knights supposed to be the best of the best?
ミゲルが、何か言いたげな表情を浮かべていたが、学校に通った効果なのか、村の一大事にまで馬鹿な口を挟まない程度の分別は身に付いたようだ。

I know that’s not it, but I can’t help but read that as “Surrender” 
「待たせたな。そろそろ出発の準備ができるはずだ。君は兵士達と一緒の馬車に乗ってくれ」
Are they not gonna ask how he got here? Do they think he went by foot?

Week 15
Ok, the bike was making me lose my suspension of disbelief a bit because I find it hard to imagine him making such a complex machine with his void magic that actually works. My question is: when he’s made a structure with his magic, does it continually require magical energy to stay in existence? Or is the magical energy only expended at the point of creation. 
Like, could he make a void sword and give it to Olivia? Is it just an object at that point?

Indeed, that was a bit underwhelming 
I think it’s too early to tell!
I enjoyed learning more about the knights this week, at least we got some more world building. Curious what will be Nyango’s role in this new subjugation… surely it can’t be something huge, considering the sheer number of professionals involved in it?
Also… the bike illustration feels so weird, like it’s misplaced in a fantasy world.

「なるほど、酔った勢いで一丁参加してみるか……みたいな感じですか？」

「がははは、冒険者は己の才覚でやる仕事だ。依頼の最中に命を落としたところで、そいつは依頼者の責任じゃなく、身の程を弁えずに飛びついた本人の責任だ」

My verdict is still 「うわぁ、酷いですねぇ……」. “They are themselves responsible if they fall for my trap” is pretty irresponsible and unethical.
別に噓をついたわけじゃなく、聞かれなかったから話さなかっただけだ。
Someone has a bad influence on Nyango 
「がははは、それが妥当な線だな。お前の場合は、前に出て戦うタイプでもないから、いずれにしても参加するのは後方からの支援だ」
It also doesn’t help that a lot of his attacks are invisible. Even if he would be able to kill it, it would seem as if it would’ve just died on its own
騎士団は住民の安全の確保が最優先で、可能であれば討伐を行うというスタンスのようだ。
And because of that, they were called first, but you also need the adventurers. Gotcha. That answers my question from last week 
昼前にキダイ村に到着すると、昨日のうちに騎士団の応援が到着したと知らされた。
Thinking about it, I’m a bit surprised that they aren’t sharing the adventurers’ cost with Kidai village. I guess maybe there wasn’t enough time to set this up? But you are going through the village, so… it would’ve been on the way?

Uh-oh.
Looks like poor ニドル died to make the stakes even more clear. Next chapter: A big fight?

What was that whole exchange with Olivia (? spelling) about, hahaha. Nyango convinced that she just wants to touch some fluffy fur… unaware much? (or did I miss the subtle details in the text?)
Also, maybe I missed it, but why was Miguel there at Kidai village, and not home?
Btw, another small point I found a bit funny was when they were talking about drugs, that Nyango mentions that dog people had a similar role/job as dogs in our world when recognizing drugs. It felt a bit… de-humanizing maybe? In a weird way, lol

Well, that’s a good title that is sure to make even a slightly pessimistic soggyboy happy!
現在、砦から救援に来ている騎士と兵士を合わせた人数は百名で、守りながら攻撃するだけの余裕は無いらしい。

別に、最初から認められると思っていないし、それでも少しは感心されるような働きをしてみせたいと思っている。
I mean… you’re also barely showing them any of your skills, so how could they possibly “accept” you?

Oooh! I was wondering whether this would happen 
Looks like Nyango got a way into his first adventurer party!
As a side note: I’m not sure how much I like that Nyango is hiding is powers. What if someone gets hurt or killed, and it could’ve been prevented if the party could plan in Nyango’s abilities? E.g. rising above the tree tops etc. It’s gonna be hard to explain later that he he had all those awesome skills all along if something like that happens.
Also, it’s been a while since we heard about Zeol. I guess he’s busy on his own, but I would’ve expected at least a quick check-in with Nyango at some point.

Week 19
I was a bit concerned about the description of the other party at the end of this section, though - it felt a bit foreboding.
Re. his abilities: I would guess that if he actually joins the party, he would disclose them (at least partially). But for now, they are still getting to know each other and I understand that even though Chariot wants to scout him, he hasn’t accepted yet (or its not an official invite yet?) I agree that in this case it’s best to be cautious, in particular since his abilities are not really… commonplace. Zeol was fine with some of his methods, but that doesn’t mean everyone else would be, I guess?
The reading this and last week flowed quite well for me, I’m happy we are picking up the pace and adding some layers of complexity with more characters in the story. I’m actually glad Zeol is not much in the focus now, it gives Nyango more space for growth.

土砂降りの雨の下でテオドロは声を張り上げているが、周囲の冒険者達は勿論、レイジングのメンバーすら同調する気配がない。
Haha. Why do I have the feeling that there’ll be one party less soon…

Lol I was kind of confused by what was going on here too.
I read this page at the beginning of a reading session and had to go back a few pages to make sure it hadn’t been a blonde wolf the whole time.
At least something is happening now and we’re not training, I’ll take it!

Week 20
Glad that there was some repercussion to his actions. For a moment, I was afraid the guy would actually get the kill. He even tried to bullsh*t by saying his party member was the one who attached the bronze wolf with fire… what a nasty guy. Hopefully he won’t bring any trouble to Nyango or the others from here on, nor try to steal their credit again.
I do feel like Nyango was one of the only ones who was using magic attacks, though (unless you consider the arrows which are manipulated a bit by wind magic to be magic attacks). Did they not mention other users of fire magic? I know that everyone was attacking the wolf simultaneously, but at the end it still felt a bit like Nyango suddenly did the main attack and got the kill.
