Discussion ground rules

  • Any spoilers, for the current chapters must be behind spoilers or detail curtains. When we get further in you don’t need to hide details that were revealed in previous chapters.
  • Always mention where you are in the book when discussing, ideally by chapter so people reading different versions have a clear point of reference.
  • Feel free to read ahead if it’s exciting! But please refrain from spoiling ahead of the appropriate week :slight_smile:
  • If you have a question about grammar, vocab, cultural things, etc - ask! That can be part of the discussion too and I’m sure some folks would be happy to help.
  • Even if you don’t read the chapter(s) in time, you are still encouraged to post in the thread for that reading once you have finished it. I advise not reading ahead in the threads as you may see spoilers.

I forgot to post my impressions after finishing the chapter the other day.

Wow those 2 have got a lot going on! It’s interesting seeing them be so clumsy, and such an odd fit, and yet trying to work on things. I hope everything will turn out well for them

I found interesting how the Shishimaru’s mood goes in a rollercoaster from kissing, to getting into a fight, to getting confessed to, to having a hard time accepting Pengin’s advances, to realizing that Pengin was actually aware of her all this time. No wonder she feels quite confused there for a while.

Given Takuya and Yozora’s comments in the middle of the chapter, at this point the Uchoutenbu might as well be renamed the Yuribu…

I do feel a lot of the developments are happening too quickly, before we can actually get to know and appreciate the characters better, which is a bit of shame.
