I just finished reading 나를 팔로우 하지 마세요! It was an easy read, with an engaging storyline for a middle grade book. I love the cover!
It follows a middle school girl whose whole life has been posted on Instagram since the day she was born. It explores her attempts to quit social media and the effects of this on her relationships with the people around her, such as her mother and her friends.
I’d recommend it to beginners to reading novels in Korean! The grammar and vocab are pretty simple, the storyline is easy to follow, and the cast of characters is limited.
Thank you! Aw, that’s a little sad to hear now. We didn’t see the person who wrote it, but hopefully they’re able to find someone to play a little bit with!
I finished 죽이고 싶은 아이 2! It was an excellent sequel and I highly recommend it to fans of the first book.
죽이고 싶은 아이 was my first novel in Korean, whereas 죽이고 싶은 아이 2 is my 13th. I can definitely feel how much my reading has improved in the past year, as well as how much more I have left to read. This book isn’t impossibly difficult, but it still had me rereading sentences to check my understanding and looking up plenty of new words.
