I assumed it was because they had traveled to Ubuki’s apartment a significant distance away to transport 3 boxes of suits back to the shop for an important client the following day, and it was getting late. It seemed like Teo didn’t want to miss the train? Of course he could have stayed there, but maybe it would have made things complicated the following morning if he had to go back to his own apartment to get clothes, especially since the whole reason for him going along was to help transport everything back. Also, tension and making you wait for it?
Is it just me, or is literally only one page numbered in each manga? I was going through counting pages by twos from the one page I found with a number.
Was it that late? Assuming they went directly from the shop, it can’t possibly be that late… Plus, trains run until midnight-ish in the Tokyo area, so I feel like there was time.
I mean, that seems the consensus conclusion among us, but I still find it unsatisfactory. If the author could just hide a kiss before, it was fine just hiding the scene, just showing テオ dressing up and leaving or something? Or instead provide some insights into what テオ is thinking. I don’t care either way, I just feel like it doesn’t make sense from a human point of view. I hope it gets addressed in the last part…
Yes, as you can see, I have basically given up on that.
You’re right! I already forgot about that. They did have to spend time checking the goods too. So @catbus does have a point… but still, taxis are a thing and, considering the previous panel, it does feel like an excuse indeed.
Aren’t we all Ahem I don’t know what you mean I’m only here for the tailoring-related vocabulary.
For himself, since he doesn’t have money. From experience, going from the outskirts of Tokyo (or Chiba) to the center costs ~1 man. That’s a lot of money for Ubuki, but less than the hotel room Teo paid for him when they first met…
(Chapter 6) For me it just seemed like Teo didn’t feel it was reasonable to go all the way at this point and that he was pushing it too far, especially as Ubuki is (at least in his point of view) still hesitant/unclear on whether he really likes Teo? So it would feel like Teo is taking advantage of this situation, and that consent is a bit dubious at the moment. I don’t know, for me it made sense for them to stop
What’s the line going from Teo’s err anatomy to… nothing? (In the central panel, where he says やってないから). I assume it’s not to show him cartoonishly going “do-ing”… Lube?
P129 of the ebook:
The birds behind Teo going 細かく説明しなかっただけ are kinda cute.
P132 むにむにむに
Omake Those two are freaking clones I swear.
Oh, there are two pages of digital version exclusive omake. Maybe I’ll post them tomorrow if someone doesn’t beat me to it… (people with the print version aren’t missing much)
Aaaah I can’t believe we are done with it already. That felt way too short…
I could easily read another 3-5 volumes of these two. I did order one of the other books by this author (but I don’t remember which it’ll be a surprise when it comes)
It took me a second to realize that it wasn’t showing two angles of Teo drinking tea in the first picture!!
p142 I’m kinda embarrassed that I never bothered to look up what ギンモクセイ was before he said that that’s what Teo kinda smelled like…
I thought the 描き下ろし was kinda indulgent, lol, but I really liked seeing Teo be jealous. 年下っぽい灯生かわいいな
I was looking at the publishing dates in the back of the book and #7 was published in 12月号 and #8 was in 2月号… this is exactly why I have no desire to read manga magazines
I didn’t really think too much of it before when she was first introduced and @snowwater mentioned how she was drawn, but in this panel she wasn’t even as tall as Teo’s waist. It was a little weird.
I stared at that line for an unreasonable amount of time trying to figure out what it was supposed to be. My first thought was a part of his pants, but clearly his hands are holding his belt lower down on each side. It seems like a weird angle to be depicting liquid. I also thought maybe a movement line, like of it boinging upward? That doesn’t seem right either though since it’s connected. It kind of looks like he has a wire hanging down.
