At first I thought the writing was very simplistic, e.g. easy language, often repeating itself saying the same thing three times,

It’s one of the first LN I read, and the first one where I thought “oooh, that’s why they are called light novels”.

Curious how the book will end and whether I’ll end up buying the next volume

Not really a spoiler, but the current plot (arc?) ends at the end of volume 2. Then… other stuff happens. It has been mostly fun except for volume 5 that is a collection of short stories one of which is plot relevant so it’s not even entirely skippable.

I don’t mind a (fun?) collection of short stories It’s kind of like that in Silent Witch too, exactly book 5 as well.

It’s like the 6th ish LN series I tried, so I was a bit hesitant on the wording. But it’s certainly near the start when I look at how many I have read by now.
