Oh yeah, and I was planning on opening more threads after Advent, just not at nearly the same rate. Like 黒バス which I’ll be seeing if I can read within January. And ダイヤ which I opened yesterday since I’m currently in the middle of reading it isn’t part of Advent either. It’s just that Advent was the impetus for the main “club”

I’m pretty tempted at this rate to just move your home post back to the Non-advent Informal section. While I like having the fact that the club spawned due to Advent, it’s probably not that important in the grand scheme of things.

Totally fair, it’s just that they have nothing else in common other than being well suited for breaking down into 24 parts. If you haven’t followed the clubs when they were current, you have no idea what kind of books there’s going to be under the Advent category. For example, last year’s advent was a mystery, and this year again one is a mystery. They’re not part of the mystery club, but they might interest the same people. Aargh, this is an organizational nightmare, and I’m partly to blame 
So sorry.
But yes, all that said, let’s give them their own category for now, and we’ll see how we feel later.
You know, even that may be too much work for little reward. Let’s skip it. An even quicker solution that we might want to consider at some point is just adding a little symbol (a green circle or something?) next to a category when there are active clubs in there, so people know to look.

No worries! I like a good organizational challenge when the stakes are low, haha. I’ll make Advent its own separate category for now, and we can re-evaluate in the new year to see what makes sense.
I like that! My only hesitation is that I don’t think we have any clubs with no active books, so ultimately it ends up being a bit redundant. Maybe I could add the current book title to the dropdown? Like so:

Edit: looking at the list, the VN club doesn’t have anything active, and the Horror club at least may/may not have a constant cycle of books. So maybe the little green circle would be good after all.

Can’t you just leave the “(Reading: ***)” off in that case, and that’ll indicate there isn’t anything read at the moment?

@bibliothecary added the BL Origins informal club to the table. I don’t have a good representative image for it atm, so feel free to add something if you think it fits. If there ends up being a bunch of BLU clubs we can definitely spin them off into their own category, but I figured for now we’d just leave it under Informal.

I changed the cover of the Higurashi VN to not break the table with the weird cover aspect ratio. Now it matches.
I was going to put a rating based on the light novel, as it would be probably a decent comparison, but I see right now is just sitting at a temporary 30??.
Not sure if add it or just ignore it.
