Alright!, I’ll see where I get a copy of the book. Probably Kobo as I’m trying to get away from Amazon stupidity.
Also, whenever someone has the ability to, changing the topic from VOTING to the next book title, to get as many people know what’s coming up would be handy.

I want to be able to put it on my reader, and I don’t think books in BW can’t be converted to epubs easily?
Otherwise I’d have started buying from them as they have good sales frequently

As far as I know, it’s not possible at all. Any post I have seen about it (in the Japanese community, though) has been met with people being mean (to say the least) to the original poster, soooo it’s not likely to get better either.
If you do find a way to get around it, I’d be interested, though.

I’ve seen a solution for Honto, but not for BW.
I saw once someone that knew how to remove the DRM but would not share as not to make them change the encryption.

If you in general have a way to convert image scans to epub (like via OCR I guess?), it’s technically possible, you just need to acquire the images (one at a time) via scripting/programming.
Tho if I were doing that, I’d just buy it on the platform & then afterwards 
it, and convert that. That seems like less thinking to me.

Just a heads up guys: I’ve decided to remove the “Is this available in another language field” from our nomination template and nomination list, as we haven’t had much demand for knowing whether a different language edition is available and to keep the table clean. I don’t mind other people joining reading in other languages though for future clubs!
