Translated some more of my reviews in my lesson last night. That’s been a super cool experience. Some of it is things stuff that’s easily within my reach (like using the phrase 近い内に for “in the near future”), some is just totally new (a phrase like 段々話の内容が壮大になっていった), and some is just using a more literary style (悪くはないが自分の趣味ではなかった。… instead of using something like 私的にはあんまり好きじゃないけど). Some has also just been a good challenge of “how do I even say this crazy long, complicated sentence in Japanese?”
A list of translated reviews so far:
- 暁のルナ's review of ふたばとゆづる 王子様系女子と友達になった話 | Natively
- 暁のルナ's review of ガヴリールドロップアウト 1 | Natively
- 暁のルナ's review of Charlotte 1 | Natively
- 暁のルナ's review of HGに恋するふたり 1 | Natively
- 暁のルナ's review of 性悪天才幼馴染との勝負に負けて初体験を全部奪われる話 (1) | Natively
Also managed to talk more in Japanese with that teacher lately, instead of switching back and forth to English as much
Quite behind on my October Listening Challenge (5.3 hrs) … really hasn’t been on my mind (plus I’ve been busy w/ IRL stuff). Otoh I’m on 21 (loggable) books at least, which is more than August & September. Started 神様たちのお伊勢参り | L30?? cuz of the book club, but honestly it’s kinda tough, so I might drop it despite the audiobook. I’m semi-trying to stick to L20-25 stuff right now, even though some already in-progress things (that I haven’t made any recent progress on) are higher than that.
Haven’t made any Tobira progress in the last few days either, but it’s still on my mind to start soon.
