Yep mine is also fixed! Thank you! ![]()
Safari warns me to open the LN websites. Message: connection is not secure (my translation).
Hmm… that’s strange sounds like an https issue but it doesn’t occur for me. Are other people getting this too?
What version of safari are you on?
I didn’t have this issue with Safari on iPhone at least.
Was this a link from an email perchance?
No, it wasn’t. I just pressed the site reload “button“. But at the moment I can’t reproduce it anyway, as I don’t know how to remove the exception I introduced for LN by pressing “continue anyway“, I guess.
Version: iPadOS 18.7.1. Btw: does somebody already use version 26?
Hmm that’s a bummer i guess haha. I don’t have access to any macs which haven’t been to natively so if someone has access to one and wants to give it a try, would be much appreciated.
I use tahoe on my mac, seems fine. Also, i’m not sure if this is possible, but i think an extension could prompt an ssl error (https error) like you mentioned if it tries to request something once you land on learnnatively. However, don’t think there’s any such safari extension you could use… so probably a nonsensical theory.
iphone 13 (iOS 26.0.1) - which has never been to LN before - doesn’t have any issues. (Tried with Safari & Edge.)
Since I am already replying here:
Nothing urgent, but a couple of things I have noticed:
Gradings have only been showing on the TV side of things since mid-October 2023, no matter the type of media that is being graded.
Syncing of 名探偵コナン | L32 is broken. It has been stuck since end of 2024. Missing about 27 episodes at the moment.

that did fix the issues with the discrepancies between my profile and the book list!
the issue with gradings page returning 500 is still present, and the gradings are still doubled
Also, after the sync, the pages for Naruto volumes don’t load now with a client-side application error, that might also be related as well.
To be clear, the sync i ran was for tv seasons, not book series
. But glad it’s working heh
Roger that, seems bad.
Oof, this one i’ll take a look at promptly. Will be reporting more tomorrow.
@GolyBidoof I fixed the Naruto volumes page. Apparently there was some bad grading data for naruto. Somehow you had inputted a grading to a now non-existing item… there must’ve been a deletion somewhere?? May need more investigation.
In anycase, i’m sure that will fix your gradings page 500 as well. Still have to look into the doubling.
Thank you, that did seem to work, and both of the issues you’re describing are connected through あなたみたいに 1巻 百合コレ, which I added first as an individual volume. and then before it got approved, I added it as series again: I tried grading both, and then when one of them got approved, the other one disappeared into thin air, but the gradings didn’t
I don’t know how to prevent something like this happening in the future though ![]()
Ah, that is excellent context! There must be an issue with my auto process which resolves that issue
If it helps, I had basically the same issue some time back (some time last year I think), but it was for my books page instead of my gradings page.
I managed to resolve it by somehow manually removing the original single volume entry from my list of owned books after it was auto-replaced by the series entry on the site.
It’s been a while since this happened and I could be miss remembering the details, so apologies if this doesn’t help.
I think I found the reason. I had the same problem again with LN and also with some other website.
My internet connection has hiccups of maybe some seconds from time to time. If I press a link while this is case, a prior version of Safari gave the message: you are not connected to the internet or such iirc, now it seems that it shows: connection is not secure, probably as the first thing that Safari expects to come from a website is the https information. But the prior message was much more helpful and to the point. If I just wait a bit everything’s back to normal.
Oddly enough, I just hit the same issue (Windows, Chrome). I tried to visit learnnatively.com/user/akatsukinoluna/jpn/ directly, and got the following:
learnnatively.com doesn’t support a secure connection with HTTPS
You usually connect to this site securely, but Chrome couldn’t use a secure connection this time. An attacker might be trying to eavesdrop or modify your network connection. Learn more about this warning
That said, it could have just been some momentary VPN weirdness or something (I’m logged in through JP VPN rn). It worked normal when I deactivated the VPN, and also when I reactivated it
That link has an (explicit?) http:// address, when I copy it, so your browser has every right to complain, I‘d say. Otoh maybe LN has no automatic relay to its own https:// address or it didn’t work at that moment.
That’s just b/c that’s how it’s rendered as HTML (either by discourse or chrome the browser - unclear which), when you don’t put an http or https prefix. As the error message implies, the browser tried https but it didn’t work, hence it reverted to http and showed the message
Pretty sure it does have a relay, or we’d all be getting insecure connection messages a lot more. Like you said, possible it failed at that moment - or a time out or something
I see. What I actually wanted to say, is that I get the same warning, but always with that link. Seems I was a bit ahead of myself.
