Several new books have been sucked into 푸른 상자 시리즈 | L24?? again. ![]()
Huh, I’ll take care of those. Still weird though. Do you know if any of those are supposed to have their own series?
I think they’re all part of individual series, if I’m remembering correctly.
All the books that weren’t supposed to be there now have their own series, that should be populated in the next hour
Not sure if it’s too early to flag this and the new book auto-approver will get to it, but just in case:
Several (most? all?) of the single books I reported that got converted into proper series earlier this week are now un-searchable. I can get to the series through the link in the email saying they got fixed, or from the private list I collect my book reports in, but they do not appear in search results. Since the auto-approval process for newly requested books churns every day, I’m wondering if newly created series made by librarians are getting skipped?
Thanks for the note - there must be a bug there, will look into. In the meantime, i’m marked all the inactive ones as active, so should be searchable in the next 30 mins.
Yikes haha. I really need to fix that bug.. will do soon!
Is this implemented? A bunch of the no-Amazon-series books I requested yesterday were just approved as single books, even though I flagged them as series and added notes about the other books in the requests.
It would be nice if requested books were just taken out of the auto-approval queue and handed to a human if the series can’t be filled automatically and/or the requester has left notes about it. Otherwise, what’s the purpose of adding notes to a request?
You’re right - It’s still yet to be implemented for the librarians. I think this week! ![]()
I haven’t been following closely for a while and reading upwards didn’t really provide clear answers, do we have a librarian role now? Who are our new librarians if so, and should we continue reporting data issues here?
See:
Data issues should be, when possible, be reported via the Feedback buttons, as that’s one of the things they handle.
LearnNatively works currently extremely slow.
Wouldn’t “view license” be more accurate than “view copyright” in this case?
It’s working fine here, what pages/functions are loading slow for you?
All I tried. Reaction after 20+ seconds.
Edit: back to normal, as it seems.
Apologies, we’ve been a little spotty today, not entirely sure why. Turn off one not essential process, hopefully fixes for now
Temporarily down again.. investigating. Will be back online momentarily.
Edit: still extremely slow, hmm
Edit: turned it off again… what the heck is going on.. all the server metrics look fine.
Edit: turned it back on again with a fresh server.. lets see
Alright, I’ve diagnosed some server memory issues which I hope will fix some of the hiccups we’ve been seeing the past few weeks. Should be all good now!
I’m sorry you all… apparently i haven’t fixed the issues… investigating!
Ok! We’re back up again. I found another issue that was causing our database to be taxed (a bad gradings query). Hopefully this solves it! If not, I will put out the fire again… ![]()
Are TV shows not added to search automatically? I tried searching for あかね噺 and got nothing, but (as expected) it’s already on the site.
Also, for とんがり帽子のアトリエ S1 | L30??, it’s airing one week ahead on Netflix, but since TMDB says the episode hasn’t aired yet it’s impossible to mark it as watched. Is there any way around that?
I’ve been having the same issue with a lot of the current season anime, most recently: マリッジトキシン S1 | L30??
I have that issue with multiple shows every season… It would be nice if we could just increment the episode count, regardless of whether it’s “aired” or not
