I would like to add that this series was the first manga I’ve properly read in Japanese and helped me immensely in getting used to reading e-books as well as in Japanese
So if anyone here is on the beginner side and is looking for a recommended “in” this is my recommendation

I’m seeing January 21st, but yes, it’s free to read, not keep.

Looks like its free to keep, I just added it and there is no timer. The January date is how long until the 0 yen price changes back to the normal price.

ループ7回 vol 1 is likewise free to buy now

Ohhh, it’s for their 読み放題 マンガコース (monthly manga subscription) that it’s till 3/31. Includes manga & magazines, and it’s 836円 ($5.74 USD) per month, with the first two weeks free… so think I’m gonna give that a signup personally

A whole bunch of ikekais and romance manga on Book walker are free to buy for 0 yen for a while. I don’t know if they are any good though.

What the frick??? I just checked Bookwalker and you are right. I was checking Booklive rather than Bookwalker, and it’s only free to read here?!? Scam!

I have a timer on mine

Picking Booklive over Bookwalker really was a mistake, huh.

Hmm, that probably means an amazon refresh of the free-to-keep list. I’ll take a look.

Sometimes I wonder if it’s worth taking all these and putting them into a twitter bot or something

/edit Quick cast around… 7th loop villainess is decent (and currently airing)

Nothing much else jumping out at me in the free tier.

/edit having said that, I am stuffing free villainess/seijou/heroine isekai into my cheeks like a squirrel for winter

because bookwalker is essentially Kadokawa they have a tendency to give a lot of free stuff
it doesn’t cost them much anyways, I would take a guess that majority they give are published by them anyways

if you dont have a bookwalker account I honestly recommend opening one even if it’s just for free stuff cause they constantly give them lol

edit: btw cmoa has it for temp free as well, so it really is a bookwalker thing

its never too late to use both :upside_down_face:

You actually made me realize that, since they are sister companies, supposedly you can buy things on one side and see it on the other…
I just made an account on BookWalker and am trying to connect it to my Booklive account right now…

Edit: It worked! I can see my booklive stuff on book walker, except for trashy BL stuff exclusive to booklive.
Let see if I can make it go the other way around (I like the booklive app better to be honest… but it’s not deal breaking)

Edit2: aaaah, no, it’s not just booklive stuff. Anything that isn’t directly connected to Kadokawa isn’t transferred. I’m losing about ~100 books, which would be a deal breaker…
But I can just keep booklive on the side, I guess.

Would you be willing to go more into the first two on the second row and the last one on the third row? I don’t think I’ve heard of them before so I don’t know what they are.

Oh dang, I didn’t realize audiobook.jp had an app.

You made me put bookmeter in the same box. It’s technically unrelated :stuck_out_tongue:

We have two in common now!
