Cmoa (a site for ebooks, emphasizes on manga but has books and non fiction and etc too, selling point is a LOT of coupons and a Lot of temporarily free to read merch)

Young Jump (a manga magazine, another site associated with them is tonari no young jump)

Bookmeter, japanese site for book reviews and for listing what books you’ve read/have/want to read
Think natively but without levels lol

Technically unrelated but ended up in there since I wanted to show the GANMA app

I wanted to show the GANMA, it came with the row package :rofl::rofl:

Not only does it have an app, it has a “car mode” which makes the buttons HUGE so you can put the phone on the magnet thingy and if you need to stop you just kinda push something and it’s big enough to have been the stop button lol

I do majority of my listening there :joy:

Edit: the only down side is that unlike Spotify or audible it doesn’t connect with navigation apps :frowning:

Oooh, now that is handy. I’ll have to try it!

So like, it doesn’t pause or anything if the navigation voices comes on to tell you turn right, etc.?

ON THE ROUNDABOUT take the holy sword EXIT

It makes the book speak very very quiet while the navigation voices are on which is a bummer, forunately there’s another huge button for “30 seconds back” but it only partially helps (those are the 2 buttons btw, no others😂)

Edit: correction
There’s a bookmark button as well

This idea is better then the Gordon Ramsay narration

Wow, those are some huge buttons. I approve.

Ahhh too bad Bookmeter android app is Japan only… That sounds pretty useful

If you have android it’s really not a problem to get Japan only apps
The CMOA app is Japan only too

Just use protonvpn (it gives you a free Japan vpn) and create a Japan Google account
It doesn’t check your phone region

Edit; if you don’t know how I don’t mind making a tutorial or finding one

I had no idea you could just switch in the Play Store like that!! Luckily I already have a separate JP google account, thankfully… I downloaded Bookmeter, plus Sword Art Online: Integral Factor (which I’ve been wanting to play in JP for years! had to delete the EN version).

Thank you so much!!

The first manga volume of 最弱テイマーはゴミ拾いの旅を始めました is also free to keep and the second is ¥99, if you’d prefer/would also like those:

It’s an anime that started last week.

わたしのお嫁くん - the first three volumes can be read for free until 02月04日 on Renta! and maybe somewhere else, as well.

Volumes 1-3 ¥8

Volumes 4-9 ¥295

Some other free to keep first volumes:

Edit: removed duplicates already mentioned.

holy crap, I thought they would end the あこがれて promotion and instead they even further reduced the first 3 vols lmao.

I just watched the first 2 eps of 7th Loop, it’s pretty fun. Not sure if I’ll spring the 500y for the 2nd vol just yet, but maybe. I should probably check though because the otome game (-based world) vocab is still a bit beyond me i think.

Do you know what 下ろしSS付き means here?

書き下ろしSS付き means that a short story is included. In this case (as well as many others I’ve seen) that short story is only included in the digital version, not in the physical version, as indicated by 電子書籍限定.

I’m not entirely sure if I’m 100% on the mark for this, but my impression is that something that is 書き下ろす was written after the fact of the work/volume it’s included in.
