Sale and Promotion hunting

They’re basically just one huge epub file, to my knowledge. I haven’t used one before, but presumably they may be difficult to navigate.

I got Toradora today (13-in-1) and it basically starts with clickable table of contents that leads you to each volume cover. After the volume covers and illustrations there is that volume’s table of contents so it feels pretty normal.

The downside I see is mental toil of finishing a volume and being at 6% of this edition, but idk if that’s what’s @seanblue is referring to or if there are other downside

I have the Trinity Blood one and a few other epubs that contain the entire series…it can be pretty slow to load in the reader, but once loaded it’s not bad to read IMO

I haven’t read any either, but I think it would make it hard to feel a sense of progress. Imagine being halfway through the first volume and it shows as being 3% done the book.

Just buy the combined version if it is that much cheaper and split it afterwards. If you can de-drm it, you can split it. :flexed_biceps:

FYI the sale seems to also be available on Amazon and Kobo. I just checked a few books from Biblios list and they were all reduced the same amount on those other platforms.

RIP my wallet

Week 2 out of 4 of Amazon’s 50% point back on popular series proves that it’s different titles each week.

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi ranobe vol 1-3 are now for 22 yen each on Kindle and Bookwalker.

The next 3 volumes are 220 yen each which also seems like a sale but not as impressive.

P.S. Amazon JP is a bit broken there (the digital version of vol 1 gives you full-furigana stand-alone volume instead of the normal edition) so if you use kindle use this link instead https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/dp/B074C5TPWR?binding=kindle_edition&ref=dbs_dp_awt_sb_pc_tkin

Oh those level grades have come down quite a bit since the last time I’ve looked :eyes:

But I have a physical set a friend forced me to buy ages ago, so it’ll still probably be a while before I want to tackle them as physicals…

Physical novels are firmly at '‘uh, nope, impossible” level for me so I felt that

I had these wishlisted but I’m also not up for them yet. If it wasn’t for this ridiculous deal, I would have kept them in the list for like a year more lol. I feel fully booked for this one :joy:
