So I read the first half of this chapter when マサムネ tells everyone his theory about their different worlds being extinguished and how they’re representatives from each world, and I went to bed like, wow, if that’s the case, then I really don’t like it :joy: Then I kept reading the next day and luckily オオカミ confirmed that it’s no such thing. Thank god! It seems like the easiest option here would be to wish for everyone to be able to meet up in the outside world  I can’t tell if this book would have a heartwarming ending like that yet.

What was the reason you didn’t like it? The way マサムネ was talking about this or the theory in general, because it would mean they were not able to meet? While reading this theory made sense but I was also happy when オオカミ confirmed that it was not like that

The theory in general, because I thought it was dumb. It just seemed really weird that the whole point would be that their worlds would be extinguished and the whole castle situation would be some kind of existential battle for their reality to continue existing. That wouldn’t have been a satisfying ending for me because I didn’t feel like it matched the vibe of the book until then.

I was also thinking about this. Why we would have the castle as a meeting place when it was about parallel worlds? But also with having オオカミ confirming that is was not about parallel worlds I kept thinking about why they meet in the castle and how they could help each other outside of the castle; and like the overall big picture

Reading about it like that I feel reminded of the hunger games :joy: And that definietly does not match the vibe of the book until then

The only problem with this is that they won’t remember everything. I can’t figure out a way to get it such that they can remember each other without an “and” in the wish. But maybe that’s a bittersweet ending.. they forget each other but know they’ll meet again…
