I actually found this section relatively easy to read (or it just flowed well?) and it went quite fast for me - perhaps I’m just getting a bit more used to the flow of the story.

Thoughts

I really liked the beginning of this chapter so far. I like how we’re getting a bit more of depth into Mei’s character and feelings, from the experience of her ex calling in the beginning. I liked how she was able to recognize her mistakes but also says she feels lonely - after all, we are all human (well, not all of us in the story!). I also appreciated that we already got acquainted with the story behind Iwanaga-hime and how Mei felt sympathy for her, but wasn’t sure how to approach her. Looking forward to see how it will develop.

Weird thought, but I wonder if Mei managed to get to this place not just because she begged “the gods” for help, but also because her ex kept calling her a goddess (when he needed money, but still).
