When discussing a specific section, please mention where you are in the book, ideally by chapter so people reading different versions have a clear point of reference.
Feel free to read ahead if it’s exciting, but please refrain from spoiling ahead of the appropriate week.

How 磐鹿六雁 is described: Massive, intimidating, scary, kind/gentle eyes
How 磐鹿六雁 is drawn: The “cool”/“sporty” bishonen in a reverse harem anime who doesn’t have the courage to tell his strict father his real dream is cooking, not sports.
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one bothered by this lol… I even had to reread the first description when I saw the drawing, I was so confused, like, is this the same character!??
I thought there was going to be more “Mei gets told off for doing dumb things like going into guests’ rooms at night”, but Ten seems surprisingly chill about that.
Right?? At least they have the illustrations at the end of the chapters so we can picture stuff for ourselves first
I might have been giggling at some of those more suspenseful scenes if I saw the illustrated version first.
Chapter 1, done! I liked getting to know 磐鹿六雁 and am excited to meet other gods. However, Ten not scolding Mei for her behavior felt anti-climactic.
It’ll be interesting to see what direction the author goes in with the next two chapters, since I don’t really feel like I have a good handle on the direction this book (and the overall series) is going in yet.
Somehow, I expected more plot from this series. Or at least some sort of over-arching red thread type of plot… seems like this is basically a collection of short stories which share the same main cast.
With the audiobook, I do seem to miss out on the illustrations… but I think I have the ebook lying around somewhere… gonna take a look.
