I saw it in Crystal first, but this was so sweet!! I assume they’ll just stay friends, but it was nice to see such a sweet, intimate, and caring moment. Seems like a lovely kouhai. And I love that the manga actually has ppl ppl close to them realize their identities in this sort of way. (He’s Mamo-chan’s & Mako-chan’s kouhai, and confronted her about it respectfully, after helping her get home).
Very different vibe from the characters who realize (and usually disappear an episode later) in the 90s anime. (Besides Naru of course)
Also this is about book 2, but I felt so bad for the inner senshi, when they had to watch their reincarnated lovers be incinerated, right after they learned about their past

I don’t even know why I added 目が覚めたら投獄された悪女だった | L32 specifically in there. I do own it, but it’s not like it’s anything special compared to everything else. The manga are only here because they are stored away in a box and I may forget I own them. But then again, I have a bunch more manga in there now (15 volumes of 入間, up to volume 12 of flying witch, and some stuff I have, as expected, forgotten) and I didn’t add them 
Sadly, it was part “oh shiny” from the forum, part “recommended for you” from bookmeter, and part “discounted now!” from booklive.

The good news is that I finished one of those (https://learnnatively.com/book/62c9c3eefa/), the bad news is that I liked it well enough to buy the remaining 13 volumes.
About the book, it’s pretty standard isekai in terms of setting, BUT we have a cute MC hanging out with a hot love interest friend dude he met along the way. In that sense, it kinda makes me think of a weaker version of 穏やか貴族の休暇のすすめ。 | L32, with worse writing and less BL adjacent interesting developments.
Why am I reading that instead of 穏やか貴族の休暇のすすめ。3 | L32 you ask? The main character has that cute impish troublemaker attitude with his hot friend that I find extremely annoying in a love interest, but somehow works for me as the main character.
Now, I may be reading too much into the little I have been given so far; only one way to find out!

I was picking up from after the tablets had broken, and ルッツ encouraging her to do it over. Also I really like that it’s broken up into such short chapters. That helped keep me going.
The stuff about her inventing & cooking was fine. Once ルッツ started actively participating, that added an interesting dimension to the story. The stuff with マイン introducing him to her boss & the merchant guy was one of my favorite parts of the book. The two of them were so cute together - they make a great team. The epilogue was great too… I wasn’t expecting magic to be a thing, but it seems likely to be a positive addition, rather than just 普通. First short story was good (though I really don’t like フェイ), and it was interesting learning more ルッツ’s thoughts and motivations - and does further emphasize the mutuality in their relationship - a nice development from the earlier more one-sided わがまま feeling, if I’m recalling that correctly. Second short story was completely pointless - I don’t know why it was there at all. We already know she’s a 本スキ妖怪 妖怪本スキー, and we already saw her being ridiculous in the beginning of the story, and nothing interesting happened.
The series seems like it has potential - and I like the originality of the protagonist and all the limitations she has - but at least for now I’m not convinced I want to continue it.
Audiobook narration is excellent, though I put it on 1.5x for most of the main story, and 2x for the 2nd short story, cuz I just wanted to be done. Was hard to know what to rate it, since I started it 1 year & 9 months ago (I think that’s probly my longest reading timespan 
), so I left it with a 3. Deleted a few of my older gradings for it that I don’t think were accurate or reliable as well.

A 本好き妖怪, I guess? With a ず not す. But I agree that this story was unnecessary and brings nothing whatsoever.
Also, hey, you finally reached the part I said you needed to reach before I can tell you about the tree. But not now because I have no time.

Also, I’ll take it as a green flag that descriptions of women never mention their breast.

That’s such a weird word, it’s funny that I never noticed before… If it’s a reference, I don’t get it. I tried looking it up, but only got references to this series…

I said time, but it’s more an issue of not having a computer right now. It’s annoying to look stuff up (to make sure I’m not spoiling anything) on a phone. But will do!

These bonus chapters are my biggest complaint with the series. I found that they were often boring and pointless and killed the pacing.

It’s not just 本好き, all the series from that publisher that I have read (including the one I am reading now) had those. They all had the same problem.

I can see why. I left a review-note that the 2nd one was entirely skippable. I wonder if there’s a guide somewhere for which are skippable. Or like summaries somewhere

I rarely read bonus content. If it wasn’t necessary for the original story it almost always grinds the story to a halt. Maybe on a re-read I’ll take a look, but the first time though, almost certainly not.

That’s probably not a bad idea… sometimes it’s very relevant tho, and it just would have disrupted the narrative flow (or spoiled something) to put it in earlier.
In this case I kinda felt like I “had to” read it, just so I could say I really read the whole thing, and so I could use the time for this month’s listening challenge… (I also started watching next episode previews, due to the audio challenges)
