There was a poll a few days ago, but that was to continue on the side, not delay the next manga.
I guess I thought there was a poll back when the two tied. Not the recent one.
There was one where most people said (in general, not for this manga specifically) to read just the first volume. But even that doesn’t completely address the question at hand.

Reminds me of 魔王の恋、ままならぬ. Which is also reverse isekai deamon lord romance (pretty sure it was a hetero couple). It was cute, but a little lacking in substance. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were many more reverse isekai demon lord romance works, maybe even yuri ones.
But 魔王の恋、ままならぬ was definitely comedy. it seems your nomination might be a bit more serious.
