No, as far as I can tell it is the same text, though it is full furigana. It’s just got a weird default level because it was submitted under the “children’s story” category. The edition is aimed at 小学生, but I am sceptical about how much one would get out of it…

Obscure words and grammar will probably not be a problem, obscure kanji are addressed by the furigana. They will understand the text on the surface side, which might be enough to like the book.
Then, ten years later when they will also understand the allusions and references, they might re-read it and like it even more.
Edit: that reminds me of e.g. Moby Dick, which you can also read on the surface side or watch the movie and like it, or read it in a version that explains the allusions and references and like it even more.

Guessing it’s just the default provisional numbers children’s books are entered at, if the user doesn’t provide an estimated. Just like how for LNs it’s L30??. Doesn’t mean anything besides “level unknown, most children’s books are probably around here”

…which reminds me of スズメの戸締り as it has quite some allusions to 魔女の宅急便, like it has, to cite another list entry, two 猫のようなナニカs in the car and uses the opening song of the other movie.

I will admit it’s slightly unorthodox, but Jiji is my favorite book and movie character from that work, lol. While he’s not the main character I feel like I wouldn’t be disappointed if someone had recommended me that as a cat book (and I honestly enjoyed it as a cat book more than 世界から猫が消えたなら ).

I also added a dog tag based on the cat tag. If anyone wants to tag and/or find dog media 
I am, however, legally obligated by the feline inhabitants of my house to state that I am unequivocally team cat.

It was meant more as a “could you please” rather than a genuine question. As far as I’m aware, everyone should be able to add the tag. Sorry for the confusion.
I would have tagged everything myself, but I don’t want to risk tagging cats as a main element when moderate would be more appropriate and disappointing someone that was looking for cats 
Plus this way everyone knows about an important tag.
Good choice Dogs are great as well though

Sorry, I think this will have been my fault. The place I got the book from suggested it as a children’s book with full furigana so when I added it to natively and didn’t know the grade, I just let it pick up the ?? Auto-Grade.

I’m not sure if this has been pointed out before. When adding books to a list (on a phone at least), the field is at the bottom of the page. Except most of the time the first few results that show up aren’t the book I’m looking for, so I scroll down, which makes search results disappear.
Altogether not a huge problem if I’m adding one book at a time, but since I recently did one with almost thirty books added at once… It gets a little annoying. This is also probably due to me being easily distracted and forgetting to scroll down before searching for a book almost every time, but surely I’m not the only one

I’m making a list for manga about gender nonconforming characters, but I don’t know what to call it. Using the term “gender nonconformity” is fine in the description, but I don’t really like it for the title. Any suggestions?
Here’s the tentative description:
This list contains manga involving any kind of gender nonconformity. This includes manga where a major character is transgender/non-binary, crossdresses, considers themselves an 男の娘, or has their gender swapped.
