Tags have finally come!
I’m sure there will be lots of discussion of different types of tags, potential duplicate tags, tags in wrong categories… so lets discuss all the issues and ideas here.

I’m guessing you imported the tag list from somewhere else – do you really want all the porn-subcategory related tags in it? It gives a bit of an odd impression when you scroll through the drop-down of possible tags and find ahegao, anal sex, armpits, asphyxiation, etc before you’ve even scrolled out of the "A"s…

I didn’t realize there were so many. I did import from AniList.
Ok, I’m just going to remove all the NSFW tags for now. Honestly, maybe I should just really cull it down.

Mmm, there’s an interesting UI question here; you want to steer the user towards the common tags (chances are that’s what they wanted) but you don’t want to restrict it too much either. Eventually when the tag system is in common use it might be possible to sort the tag list by frequency, but there’s a bootstrapping problem…

Also the Scrolling is impossible to use in mouse, every time you click on it, the thing disappears

Oh interesting… so ‘Horror’ is a genre tag not a content tag. Although you should’ve gotten an error message that tells you that, so still a bug

Oh I see, then that opens the can of worms that some tags might seem like content tags but are genre tags and vice versa

I can’t scroll through the list at all:
The totally useless saved data is on top, and if I click anywhere on the dropdown menu or scrollbar, it just closes. (Never mind, I tried again and I could close the saved data and then scroll, but not by using the scrollbar)
But from the little I can see from the dropdown list, there’s a lot of anime-specific tags that wouldn’t apply to books. Achromatic? Advertisement?

There can be product advertisements (or something that is close to being one) in books and mangas.

Yeah, i’m not really sure where to put it, as I’m sure some people don’t want to see tags due to spoiling. I think I should put it at the end but with a tab link.
I’ve fixed the error handling for that issue you encountered, so I think it’s ok now… not really an issue if I alert you i don’t think.

Yeah this is true. Although these tags will be added to Movies & TV Shows too.
I guess I can significantly cull down the tags right now, but i guess I figured most people would be searching via text to start off. I have gotten rid of the tags marked NSFW.

Maybe the NSFW tags should be displayed only if the item is marked as NSFW?

You should probably keep at least one that says “NSFW” or “adult content” or something like that, though.
