Spoilers should always be hidden using spoiler blur.
When discussing a specific section, please mention where you are in the book, ideally by chapter so people reading different versions have a clear point of reference.
Feel free to read ahead if it’s exciting, but please refrain from spoiling ahead of the appropriate week.
If you have a question about grammar, vocab, cultural things, etc - ask! That’s a welcome part of the discussion too, and other readers will be happy to help.
I’m not 100% sure whether I’ll be joining or not; depends on start date and how many other books I have going on and work and all that stuff. I will be keeping my eyes on the thread.
@prath I want to make sure that if we start later that you’d still want to/be able to read with the club since the 13th was the only date you voted for. We’re tied for a mid to late July start so I’m thinking we probably won’t start for a few weeks after your vote.
Oh yes, I absolutely don’t mind and will join either way! Late is better for me cause I’m currently catching up with all the other book clubs. I was just too excited ahaha
Yeah, I may have to sit this one out too if I can’t find it anywhere else. I was hoping my relatives in the US could buy and send it to my ereader, but I’m not sure if that’ll work TT
I’m pretty sure that’s explicitly forbidden by Amazon.
Actually, I just went ahead and checked the Amazon FAQ. If the book is not available in your region, it will still be unavailable even if someone else buys it for you. (You will have to move physically to a place where it is available; or, you know, use a VPN, but then you could just do that from the start).
Yeah I probably should do more than change the title, but I’m on my phone rn. And now we’ve commented here and it’ll bump the thread to the top, so, job well done?
