• Does Nacchan know that there are other juices besides orange juice…

• In the first few lines after the break, I thought Nacchan had gone back to お兄ちゃん’s apartment

I’m only halfway through this week’s reading but I’m going to throw my random theory that just hit me out there. Bear in mind I’m on night shifts so my reasoning may not be great.

南さん and アバズレさん - their roles were to show what her future might become, and when the course of things changed, they ceased to exist.

I wonder if ばあちゃん‘s role is to show what happens instead. So I’m wondering - are they alone in the house?

I feel like the first time they went to Obaa-chan’s house they explained that her children were grown up so it’s only her there now… but that was so long ago that I don’t actually fully trust that memory

Some thoughts I jotted down:

• When obaachan did the title drop, I started wondering if maybe the grandmother was just dreaming and reflecting on her past and what it could have become (and maybe likewise with Abazure-san… not sure if Minami mentioned dreaming either). But that would be too sad, even if she did feel happy in the end

• The cat can’t meet Kiryuu-kun either, so I still don’t believe she has ever appeared in front of an actual person.

• I wonder if obaachan’s existence is fading because Nanoka is getting closer and closer to Kiryuu-kun? Assuming that’s her last regret
