as of now games arenāt implemented in natively but people over at š® Video Game + Visual Novel Natively Levels are listing game levels so I want to create a proper wiki with the table and everything
edit notes
let the table organize by lvl and it separated the numbers and the numbers with question mark, not sure if itās okay or not since everything is relative with a system like the natively level grading
either need to check all else for visual novels one by one or ask people to move it if they notice it in the wrong place
itās kinda bothering me so I will change the Japanese names into either English or Romaji, that way series from the same games will be aligned one after the other if theyāre on the same lvl/not assigned
@eefara Hi efara! sorry to bug you but could you turn this post into a wiki? (itās just that I remembered it was you that did it with the webcomics wiki I made so decided to tag you here tooā¦)
Remove everything without a level suggestion. (Maybe put it in a separate table or at the end of this one if it has a good write-up in the original post.)
Remove all empty links.
Maybe switch ālink to postā (put it on the game name) and ālink to gameā (make it a separate column)? In this context here Iād be more interested in learning more about the experience playing the game in Japanese, i.e. our āNatively pageā, than getting e.g. the Steam page.
This is all from the context of a learner who wants to find games appropriate to their level. Sorting by name only seems useful if you try to find a specific game, and for that the browser has seach functionality.
Also, Iām a bit curious where Cultist Simulator at L21 came from (thereās no post?). Not only is the game positively full of text, but also its prose is written to be hard to understand and to evoke a mysterious esoteric atmosphere.
Examples in English:
Despair pads close at my heels. The world is leached of light.
The Spiderās Door is always THIRSTY. Always. The blood I have given leaks in threads and spills through the skin of the world, and the Door drinks it and a momentās satisfaction swells its opening until I can pass.
A Hint was once a living mortal, and then a dead one, and now itās something else. Their summoning requires Lantern, for the light which drew them to the Mansus, and Edge, for the striving theyāve endured in mirrors.
Iāll do one better, since doing a separate column for level is a great idea might as well sort by both level AND name
I did actually! things that were āaround the middle of N2ā or stuff like that I put an approx with ā?ā afterwards, anything that I need to extrapolate further I put it empty since I wasnāt sure what to do with it?
some empty ones maybe also be that I didnāt notice or forgot to add, newer ones I didnāt fill in everything yet (as youāve seen with the empty links, theyāll be filled, I just didnāt have time yet to sit down on it again, will probably fill in more in an hour
edit: might not be today)
good point! Iāll do that
my fault, it came from me, I was planning to put it in my post and forgot, I honestly donāt remember why I put it at L21, Iāll take a look at the grading system again and see if maybe I meant 31?
cause I do remember some difficult rare vocab there
Ah, gotcha. I got that post from a game that didnāt have a level yet (AIļ¼ć½ć ćć¦ć ćć”ć¤ć« ), so I just assumed that you left them all empty.
When you edit a table in the table mode rather than by text you can click twice on the column name and it sorts by that column!
Aside from that Iāll just sort by names whatever else
unofficially finished, need to decide what to do about checking the video game list for other visual novels I didnāt recognize/notice/know about - this part will be just left as is until the post is a wiki since itāll be more practical to make the decision then
also deciding on a standard for reporting these might help but not exactly required lol
